Register for the Fall 2025 Cross Country Season -- Opens in July
STEP A - Register with the School
CLICK HERE to download the Athlete Physical Form. Page 4 must be signed by your medical provider, a parent, and the athlete, and the athlete must be marked as medically cleared to participate in the first XC practice. The Athlete Physical Form is good for one year from the date it is signed by your provider, so if a valid physical is on file with Creek you can use a prior physical.
CLICK HERE to register with the school for Cross Country. The Athlete Physical Form needs to be uploaded during the registration process and SIGNED by doctor, parent and athlete.
The cost to participate in a fall sport in our school district is $90 for the season.
STEP B - Register with the XC Team
CLICK HERE to register with the Creek XC Team. Registration with the XC Team is required for all Bruins Cross Country Athletes. The team registration fee goes directly to the Cherry Creek XC program, includes your team T-shirt which we will wear to school on meet days, and funds all the fun team activities we do throughout the season, including pasta parties, team spirit gifts, senior recognition, and end-of-season celebrations. CLICK HERE to purchase additional XC gear through the team store before August 14th.
Team Gear Notes:
You do NOT need to order the blue team t-shirt for your athlete from the team store as it is inculded in your team registration fee. However you may want to purchase additional t-shirts for parents, siblings, and fans!
Please feel free to order the long sleeve t-shirt and/or the sweatshirt for cooler days in the late fall.
New this season, we have a royal blue warm-up jacket and black running pants available for purchase. Varsity athletes will wear this outfit for the mid-season travel meet and for regionals and state. If you are a varsity athlete and anticipate that you may participate in these meets, you should purchase the warm-up jacket and pants. We will also have a few available for check out for those meets as well.
We also have a Creek XC hat available for purchase that is not in the team store. Please CLICK HERE to place your order.
STEP C - Purchase a Uniform
CLICK HERE to purchase a uniform if you are new to Bruins Cross Country. If you have a uniform from a prior season or a sibling/friend you can use that uniform and do not need to purchase a new one. Uniforms are $80. The uniform is the same as the uniform worn in track & field except that most male cross country runners wear the split shorts rather than the compression shorts worn by male track & field sprinters.
STEP D - Attend the Parents Meeting
We will have a parents meeting on August 13th at 6pm in the Schillinglaw Lecture Hall in the West Building of the High School. At the meeting you will be able to purchase this year's t-shirt and sweats as well as other gear. It is recommended that every athlete purchase a t-shirt and sweat suit as we will wear these to school before some meets.
Please consider supporting our Booster Club activities with additional financial support. You can make a general donation, sponsor a pasta party, etc.
Cherry Creek Cross Country cannot function without support from the Booster Club. The Booster Club pays for pasta parties before every meet, popsicle Mondays, equipment, coaching support, etc.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We rely on volunteers from our amazing XC community to make this a fun and successful season for all athletes, and we especially need volunteers to help put on our Cherry Creek Invitational on September 7. All families are expected to sign up to help with something throughout the season. Please use the links below to sign up to help at the Creek Invite and other fun team events. Thank you so much for contributing to a great season for our athletes and coaches!
